Gears don't need to have the traditional shape - how about using a letter as a shape for a gear? Not all letters are suitable (e.g. "O"...), but the A works well :) The hex hole fits the typical 6.3mm hex bit for breaking loose and breaking in. Printing: I used a 0.4mm nozzle, 0.17mm layer height, random seams, 3 perimeters, concentric top/bottom infill - but standard settings should be fine. No supports. Maybe try fuzzy skin (outside only). The file is split into parts for easy multi-color printing; changing color only for parts 3 and 4 will result in only 4 color swaps, which saves time and waste on purging multi-color printers. You'll probably need a hex bit screwdriver to break the gear loose. I used a power tool to break it in (use short bursts; if it gets too hot by friction, it'll melt partially) and a bit of thin oil to get it run smoothly.
