This car chassis allows you to replace a broken acrylic chassis or have fun upgrading your current kit to a fun buggy-style model. This model has been designed to print with minimal support (only the front face which holds the ultrasonic sensor) and minimal filament while providing a rigid chassis for use within the classroom environment. All holes are made for M3 screws and if you have a current car kit you should be able to simply reuse the screws that hole the acrylic chassis together! This model requires the following electronics: Arduino Uno (1), motor shield (1), TT motors (4), ultrasonic sensor (1), line following array (1 - I have used the Tracker Sensor by HY Studio), battery pack (AA), and hookup wires. The compact design will hopefully help save space on shelves and allow the wheels to act as bumpers to take the brunt of impacts when teaching students to code autonomous behavior. If you have any suggestions for improvement please let me know!
