I needed a way to stack a 1x2 Kallax on top of a 4x2 Kallax. This bracket attaches at the back of the units and clips over the top of the bottom unit and the bottom of the top unit. Using one bracket at the extreme left and another at the extreme right aligns the two units horizontally. The bracket aligns the units front to back. Use 4 flat head, tapered #6 wood screws to attach the brackets to the units (2 screws into each unit for a total of 4 screws per bracket). Hopefully the pictures help show what I mean. It is possible to lift the front of the 1x2 unit up if you only put them at the back but it is a robust connection and otherwise holds the two units together so that the top unit cannot fall off.
