This adapter lets you connect a Logitech C270 webcam to a standard, ¼" threaded tripod mount. I use a small Manfrotto tripod to capture timelapses and monitor my prints, so I wanted to be able to put the webcam on a standard mount. The ¼" threads are a little bit tight, but I just wanted something functional, and this seems to do the trick. See Note below for source of ¼" thread model. Settings: “.2 mm SPEED” or ".2mm Quality" profile on a Prusa Mini+ does well.No supports required.Requirements: Remove the standard mount that comes on the C270.One (1) 25mm M3 screwOne (1) M3 nutNotes: I tried to do an inset for the hexagonal nut, but due to the small size, I ended up just shaving that off the model and putting a nut outside the part. Perhaps with an M2 nut, it might fit within an inset.The ¼" threads are a little tight. I may do another iteration to clean that up, or do a 3/8" to ¼" bushing that provides a cleaner connection to the tripod.An M3 screw should slide in easily, and this should align properly with the small plastic sleeve inside the mount hole on the camera. If it doesn't go through easily, something is wrong.Because it's such a small part, dial back the speed if you're not using the Prusa .20mm settings, and you should be good to go.The ¼" screw threads came from GreatOldOne's Tripod Screw model: https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/55771-tripod-screwCaveats: This is my first model that I've shared publicly (and probably the 3rd model I've ever created), so I'm definitely not a CAD whiz, and there are definitely better ways to model this, but I used Tinkercad and am just getting started with creating 3d models. I hope you can get some mileage out of it. This is the sixth iteration, and I made sure this doesn't need supports or any special considerations.
