Parametric Part BoxAdjustable part box designed for SMD components. I designed this box to fit in Sortimo containers (insert size 52×52 mm). AssemblyThe model consists of the box and the lid. These parts can be connected with an 1.75 mm filament as the hinge. DesignDesigned in Onshape. The whole 3D model is designed to be adjustable as possible with a few parameters, see parameters. please request access for it, if you like to contribute or make adjustment. Adjusting the ModelThe main parameters to adjust are: (these are the default values) NameValueDescriptionbox_multi_inner_X1Multiplier for the inner size of the box in X direction box_multi_inner_Y1Multiplier for the inner size of the box in Y direction box_multi_outer_X1Multiplier for column of boxes box_multi_outer_Y1Multiplier for rows of boxesAll other Values are (hopefully) driven by those values and therefore should not be adjusted. The adjustment currently works reliable by only adjusting the Multiplier values. The 1×1 box is the base size and has outer dimensions of 27×27 mm If you want a box with the size of 52×27 mm, you set the box_multi_inner_X to 2. The hinges of the lid depend on the width of the inner box, to make it more stable. Or 4 columns of boxes with a size of 1×2 It is important to adjust the box and use the lid that is derived from the entered parameters, because the width of the inner box is changing with the amount of columns. Included models:The naming convention of the models is: 1x1x1x1 for one box of the size 1x1I followed this naming convention in the uploaded parts and photos.
