Howdy guys and gals! I wasn’t quite satisfied with the garden sprayers I could find in the store, so I made my own! It has an integrated stake and features 8 small streams that spread to a little more than a 12" diameter. It puts out a similar amount of water to off the shelf sprayers, so it won’t throw your water balance into chaos. It is not adjustable. I found a lot of the current adjustable options were too inconsistent, so I wanted a solid, reliable sprayer that performs the same through every print, and I’ve achieved just that. It’s made for standard 1/4" irrigation hose, which can be found at most home improvement stores. There is also a system that plugs into a larger 1/2" line, and I recommend running it this way to help equalize pressure along the whole bed. The connector section includes a built in restriction to help manage flow and pressure for typical hose setups. I’ll include the STEP model if you want to tweak it. If you need more flow, you can slightly increase the hole size in 0.015" increments until you get the output you’re after. PS. it features a hole in the top for 2 differant reasons, first is i needed a diverter for the water flow so that the spray wasnt unbalanced throughout the 8 streams, second i am planning on making attachements for the top that can turn this into a few differant use cases like mechanical rotating sprinkler attachments etc.. if you feel inspired please continue the improvements on this design im looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with!
