This is a beefier and completely reworked version 2 of my “Sovol SV08 Enclosure Top Glass Panel Hinges” model that was originally a remix of “Hinge between acrylic and glass panels of aquarium lid” by Bryson. Use this version. The Sovol SV08 enclosure comes with 2 glass panels for the top. Typically you are to remove 1, or both, of these top panels and set them off to the side along with opening the front doors when printing in PLA to allow for sufficient cooling. Pulling the panels off and setting them on the floor or off to the side was kind of a pain and I was worried I was going to drop or break one. I remixed a clip style aquarium lid hinge into my initial version 1 hinge and then again to this which you add double sided tape to the bottom of each side of the hinge and then stick it between the 2 glass top panels. I've never used Fusion before so nothing super fancy by any means but seems to work, lol. I printed this in PLA+, 30% infill, 0.1mm layers, no supports, laying flat. Probably a million different ways to print this really :D For the double sided tape I used Black 3M Heavy Duty 1 Inch Double Sided Tape Mounting Waterproof Foam Tape VHB 5952 https://amzn.to/41i5Xi0 with LLPT 94 Adhesion Promoter https://amzn.to/3BcP8dP. The original version of hinge I used smaller tape coupled with the smaller hinge and eventually the heavy glass panel can detached from the foam tape. Utilizing this redesign coupled with the adhesion promotor and larger tape resolves this issue. In the photos are a few photos near the end comparing version 1 and version 2.
