I have a wooden structure on the wall of my balcony for hanging some plants. Now, instead of using expensive and not-so-nice metal brackets that will rust over time, I can use my own custom-made planters that fit there perfectly. Update: I have added a slightly modified design file (V2.3mf) that has a constant width wall even in the corners so it will save some print time. Besides, I have increased the extrusion line width to 1mm so the wall requires only two perimeters and a little membrane has been created so when printed upside-down the bridges are shorter and continuous despite the drain hole. I have found mine are leaky enough that I do not need to break the membrane with a screw-driver for the excess water to leak out. G-code for the MINI is provided in case you want to just print it in PLA. Please note the changes I have done almost halved the print time from almost seven hours to around 3 and a half. The design was made using Onshape, you can find the public model linked here. Update2: I noticed I could not stack one empty planter onto another. I have added a bit of a draft so now that is possible (V3). Still, the recommended print orientation is as V2. Update3: My basil is not happy. I suspect it needs better drainage. So I created V4, which makes the bottom of the pot a fine mesh instead of a closed one with a tiny hole, thus improving drainage.
