Wedding 3D Photo Session
Cake toppers that are actually the two of you.
Booked well before the day, so there is time to get it right. Both of you are scanned together in what you are wearing, and we print a topper sized to your cake. You keep it long after the cake is gone. Allow six weeks between the session and the wedding.

$100 is taken when you book to hold the slot. The balance is due when you collect the finished piece, because the final figure depends on how many people end up in the scan and how large the print is.
How it goes
- Book a time. Pick a slot below and pay the deposit to hold it.
- Come in. 1 hr at the studio. Wear what you want to be wearing forever.
- We clean it up. A raw scan is never print-ready. This is the part that takes the skill.
- Collect it. Around two to three weeks later, longer for large pieces.
Questions
How far before the wedding should we book?
Allow six weeks between the session and the day. That leaves room for the sculpt cleanup, the print, and a reprint if anything is not right, without anybody having to rush the topper.
Can the topper match our cake?
Yes. Tell us the tier diameter and we scale the figures to sit correctly on it. We can also match a colour or leave the pieces in full-colour print as scanned.
How long until I get my figurine?
Two to three weeks from the session for most pieces, longer for large or multi-person prints. The scan itself takes minutes; the time goes into cleaning the mesh by hand, which is the part that decides whether it looks like you.
What should I wear to a 3D scan?
Texture and pattern scan beautifully. Avoid shiny black, sheer fabric and anything reflective, because the scanner reads those as holes. Bring a change if you are unsure and we will tell you which reads better before we start.
Where are you based?
Our studio is in Auckland. For events we bring the scanning rig to your venue anywhere in New Zealand.
