Anycubic Kobra Tool Holder (slides into channel!)

This is a tool holder for the Anycubic Kobra 3D printer. It is designed to slide into the extrusion on the lower left side of the printer. It holds the following tools:

• Flush Cutter (Amazon Link or similar) • Precision pliers (Amazon Link or similar) • Tweezers (any one type from Amazon Link or similar) • Large nozzle wrench and brass brush (from Amazon Link or similar) • Standard Glue Stick • Wrenches & base tools from the original Kobra kit (allen keys, eccentric nut wrench, acupuncture needle, etc)

I printed this in Polymaker PolyLite PETG, but PLA should also work fine. You will likely not need supports if you have good bridging performance. The 3MF file includes supports painted on for some areas that have a higher risk of looking “ugly” if you aren't confident in your bridging. The round holes were modified into a “teardrop” to ensure that they can print without drooping.

I recommend printing this in the orientation shown below (the one in the 3MF file). This ensures that the layer lines go along the cantilevered pliers holder and along the t-channel sliders to prevent separation.

My print settings:

• Layer height: 0.2mm • Line width: 0.45mm • Infill: Gyroid, 15% • Hot End Temperature (PETG): 235C • Bed Temperature (PETG): 70C • Build Plate Adhesion: Skirt • Pressure Advance: Yes • Input Shaping: Yes

The 3D CAD is available on Onshape if you want to modify this design in any way! The feature list is broken down by the specific tools if you want to tweak the size or add/remove more tools. Let me know if you have any other modification requests and you aren't comfortable doing it yourself – I can likely make some tweaks pretty easily!
