Them, hanging on the tree
A small figure of your pet, your child or the two of you, sculpted from photos, with a loop for the tree and the year on it.
Your idea, made real
Most families have a few ornaments that come out every December and get a story each time. A small figure of the dog, the baby or the two of you in Santa hats, with the year on it, becomes one of those. Each year adds another, and the tree turns into a record of who was there.
An ornament has to be light enough for a branch and tough enough to be packed away every January. We keep it small, build the loop into the sculpt rather than gluing it on, and keep thin parts sturdy.
At this size a slightly stylised look, with a bigger head, reads best from across the room. True to life is possible, but the face is very small.
You see renders before anything is printed and can ask for changes. It is then printed in resin and painted by hand.
Christmas does not move, and sculpting and painting take time, so send your photos early and put the date you need it by in the form. The quote comes back with a lead time and an honest answer on whether it can be met.
Yes. Next year's ornament can be made in the same style and size as this one, so they look like a set on the tree.
It is far tougher than a glass bauble, and the loop is printed as part of it rather than glued on. A fall onto a hard floor can still chip something small.
Yes, and it is a good one for them. Put how many copies on the form.
