A hand-painted resin knight miniature with a sword and shield on a round base, against a plain grey backdrop

Your game character, off the screen

The one you built in the character creator and spent hundreds of hours with, sculpted from your screenshots and hand painted.

Nobody else has your character. You built them in the character creator, chose every piece of their kit, and spent more time with them than with some of your friends. No shop sells that figure, so it has to be made. We have had this request through our quote form, so here is how we go about it, for one character or a character and their companion.

What to send us

From screenshots to a sculpt

Game characters are designed to be seen moving, through a camera that is rarely straight on, so screenshots from several angles matter more here than anywhere. We sculpt from all of them together, fill in the views the game never showed you, and check those with you.

At around 15cm, the face, the silhouette and the colours of the kit are what make a character recognisable. Very fine patterning is painted rather than sculpted, which keeps it sharp at this size.

You see renders before anything is printed and can ask for changes. It is printed in resin and hand painted, and a companion can share the base or come as its own figure.

Size, material and finish

Standard, around 15cm. Large, around 20cm, gives elaborate armour more room.
Colour
Hand painted, full colour, matched to your screenshots.
Material
Resin, for the finest detail in the face and the kit.
Base
Plain, engraved with their name, or one shared base for the character and the companion.
Finish
Matte or gloss, whichever suits the art style of the game.

How long it takes

The quote comes back within one working day with a lead time. Sculpting from screenshots usually takes a round or two of renders, so if it is a gift with a date, put the date in the form and tell us whether it can move.

Questions

What are the best screenshots to send?

Photo mode with the interface hidden, neutral lighting, the camera at chest height, and the character turned to the front, each side and the back. Add close-ups of the face. If the game has no photo mode, the character or inventory screen usually lets you rotate them.

Can you do the companion as well?

Yes, on a shared base or as a separate figure. Send screenshots of the companion the same way, plus one of the two together so their sizes against each other come out right.

Can I get it unpainted?

Yes. Choose single colour, unpainted, on the form, and it arrives with the supports removed and the contact points cleaned back, ready for you to paint.
