A bust, head and shoulders
A person or a pet, sculpted from photos as a head and shoulders bust and printed in fine resin.
Your idea, made real
A bust gives the whole piece over to the face. A full length figurine at 15cm has a face the size of a fingernail, while a bust of the same height is nearly all face, which makes it the right choice when likeness matters most. It suits a memorial, a retirement, a founder for the office, or a portrait of a much loved pet.
A bust is built from the shape of the head outwards: the width of the skull, the line of the jaw, the set of the eyes and ears. Those come from the profile and three-quarter photos as much as from the front on one, which is why we ask for so many angles.
An unpainted bust in a single colour shows the sculpt plainly, like a classical portrait. A fully painted one looks more like the person in life. Both start from the same sculpt, so you can decide once you have seen the renders.
You see renders before anything is printed and can ask for changes. It is then printed in resin, cleaned up, finished, and mounted on a plinth if you want one.
The quote comes back with a lead time before you commit. If the bust is for an unveiling, a farewell or a memorial service, put the real date in the form and we will tell you honestly whether it can be met.
Yes. A bust suits a pet well, because the face is where their character is. Send photos of the face from the front, both sides and three-quarter on.
A single colour in white or grey gives a clean classical look. If you have a particular stone or metal finish in mind, say so on the form and we will tell you honestly what is achievable.
A figurine is the whole body and a bust is the head and shoulders. At the same height a bust gives the face several times the room, so it is the better choice when likeness matters more than pose or outfit.
