Wife was steam cleaning and she smacked the head of the steam cleaner against my desk.
In doing so the clip broke that holds the head assembly onto the body. With it broken, it makes the steam cleaner basically INOP. The head will fall off during use.
Instead of replacing the whole unit, I threw together a quick model in CAD (file included, Solidowrks) and printed in PLA.
The stock design has a spring and “rocks” via its molded-in design. I found there was no reason to get that fancy as there was a nice hole to use for attachment.
A M4 x 30mm bolt with a nut holds on the clip, which has a sturdy ledge instead of the clip working face. All fixed!
