The cable hole measures 6.5mm, but that's mostly to provide a large radius for flex. It's only intended for standard or fabric/cloth/"tough" USB cables. I'm unsure if it will flex open more than that without breaking. Theoretically, you could print this in a flexible filament if you want to use the full volume. I recommend printing on its side, as pictured. I also use tree/organic supports. At least with AnkerMake software, they leave very little plastic to clean out. This was designed around standard US drywall screws. If you can't guess by the totally unnecessary decorative hole, this is not intended for serious structural integrity. Please don't try to hang a headset from the charging cable using this. I don't know why you would, but I've seen wilder things.
I'm a designer more than a 3D printing enthusiast, so I'm not much help with settings. I use a standard PLA profile for temperature and speeds. On the supports, I have the spacing set at .1mm between the support and the model. The supports are likely unnecessary for a hole this small, but I haven't tried to print without them yet. This was designed so that screws don't bite into the plastic. You should be able to slide them through or spin them freely if the threads rub a little.
