Cat water fountain clip

This fountain works great, but our cat for some reason would self sabotage his own water supply and lift the top metal plate and flower out of alignment causing it to no longer push water up for him to drink. I have gone through several iterations of these clips as our cat would somehow break them. Eventually I made them thicker and reinforced where the original designs broke. I would recommend 4 total clips for two reasons: (1) it keeps the top as secure as possible and (2) it makes the fountain stable on all sides instead of balancing on the bottoms of only a couple clips.

How to install:

• Lift whole fountain up so you have full access to the top and bottom of the side you want to put the clip on (possibly hang the whole fountain off an edge slightly instead of holding in the air to avoid spilling) • Put the top thicker hook section of the clip on first over the metal plate • Push the bottom clip over the bottom ledge until it audibly snaps into place (very satisfying)

How to remove (i.e. for cleaning):

• Same as install, lift fountain up to obtain access to bottom part of fountain • Use your finger to pry at the bottom hook to flex the clip over the small lip and pull outwards • Lift loose clip off top of fountain
