For electrical installations in the building, where cables are to be laid on plaster, lightweight construction or board walls, these usually need to be protected inside a cable duct or cable conduit. I have designed these brackets for fixing insulating conduits. Similar brackets are usually available in any DIY store, but sometimes in varying quality and durability. If you have already worked intensively with 3D printing, it is appealing to print such brackets yourself. A complete selection of plastics in different colors, properties and characteristics, e.g. UV stability for outdoor use, is also available for this purpose.

The models files are available with brackets for the common pipe sizes DN20, DN25 and DN32, whereby both rigid pipes and flexible corrugated conduits can be attached. The conduit is only held by clamping it between the arms. When mounting flexible corrugated pipes instead of rigid ones, only the distance between the brackets needs to be reduced. The clamps can be connected for parallel routing of pipes. They can be printed without support. In terms of cost, clamps printed in ASA are at about the same level as quality products purchased in larger quantities at very low prices. So everyone has to decide for themselves whether it is worth the effort. At the very least, you can quickly print the few clamps you need for the application at hand.
