For the Prusa MK4S, the 5.8mm pins have proven to be the optimal choice in terms of fit and functionality.

Recommended Print Settings

For Pins

• Perimeters (Shells): 4 • Infill: Minimum 80% to ensure maximum strength and rigidity • Brim: Required – this is critical for ensuring proper adhesion during printing, especially for the precise features of the pins

For the Crocheting Board

• Perimeters (Shells): 2 • Infill: 10-20% – sufficient for a sturdy yet lightweight base • Brim (optional): Recommended for materials or printer setups (e.g., PETG or printers with weaker bed adhesion), where additional adhesion is beneficial

Material Recommendations

This project works well with PLA, PETG, or any other easy-to-print material that offers stable dimensional properties. Adjust your brim settings if your material is prone to significant shrinkage or adhesion challenges.
