Printing instructions

Simply print this part on it's side (the uploaded orientation). I have tested it with 20% gyroid infill on the “upper” part and 100% infill on the teeth at the bottom. Test material was PLA. That has worked very well. Of course a big and heavy door will leave some minor dents in the upper surface of the wedge, but the wedge will not be squeezed and destroyed.

So far I have not had troubles with PLA due to UV exposure in outdoor usage. But PETG would of course be a more durable choice. On the other hand PETG is not as hard as PLA, so the teeth might wear out a bit quicker.

Feedback is appreciated as always

If you print this part and test it in a rough environment, I'd appreciate to hear about your experience. Please feel free to share photos and comments. It's always nice to see such parts in their multiple use cases.

Please like it if you like it

And of course I appreciate to get a like if you like this part
