DVD Shelf - 300 mm - 12 Inches

I needed some wall storage to clear up the clutter of DVDs on my desk so I created a simple DVD shelf design that prints with minimal material for the needed strength, and prints without support material. It prints with the small opening on the print bed with the shelf back and ledge printed upward at a 45 degree angle and the sides of the shelves at the ends. I included an image showing the correct orientation on the print bed.

The shelves are mounted with two decking screws but most #7 or #8 screws should work. For the light loads anticipated, wall anchors are probably overkill.

I printed eight of these shelves from PLA using a 0.4 mm nozzle, a 0.2 mm layer height, a 0.4 mm bottom layer and two bottom layers over that, 3 layer wall thickness, 20% rectilinear infill, and four top layers.

I included the FreeCAD file if you'd like to modify this model, the STL file if you want to use your preferred slicer, the OrcaSlicer file if you'd like to alter how it prints, and I tried to upload the G code files so you could download and print the parts directly if you have a Sovol SV08 printer but Printables didn't like the G code, reporting “File contains unsupported code EXCLUDE_OBJECT_DEFINE”. The G Code is on my Thingiverse account.
