Ender 3 V3 SE - Nozzle Box

The Revision

• 1.00 - Original model. Release date: 16th march 2024. • 1.10 - By request the thread holes have been made 0.1mm bigger, to a total of 6.4 mm. Filet has been added to the top, to increase strength. A shorter version was added that holdes 10 nozzles, instead of the 18 in the original. Release date: 24th march 2024. (Due to an error on this model, the files has been removed for this version, please use version 1.11) • 1.11 - The bottom part was for some reason 1.2 mm offset from the top. Thanks to @RobertZ_1565003 for letting me know. Release date: 2nd april 2024 • 1.20 - @BdX_2051055 suggested added a “handle” to open the box more easily, so that change was added. Release date: 23th may 2024 • 1.21 - I wasnt entirely happy with the way the previous versions felt when closing the lid. I made a minor tweak to the bottom part, that allow the lid to close much smooter. Along with the notch added in 1.20, this was the version that made me trash my 1.00 model, that i was perfectly happy with. Release date: 23th may 2024

The product

What emerged is a masterpiece of innovation (Almost). With beautiful rotating hinges and a cleverly integrated notch to secure the lid, this design is not only practical but also a delight to print. And the best part? It's entirely print-in-place, eliminating the hassle of assembly.

Fair warning

When printing this model, please allow the printed piece to cool down before trying to close it, I have had a few people fusing the lid to the bottom, because the piece was still a bit too hot when they eagerly tried closing it, only to not being able to open it again without force.

My print settings

For this model I used PLA

Infill set at 10%, gyriod. 2 walls. 3 bottom/top layers

But I would think that most normal settings would work with this model.
