Flamingo FP5 Cruise Missile Toy (supportless, non-functional)

This is a model of an Ukrainian Flamingo FP5 Cruise Missile. The geometry has been slightly adapted for supportless printing. You can choose from 2 printing options.

• Use the full model to print in 1 piece with supports.

• Use the 3-part model (front, mid, back) to print supportless and assemble.

• The model is optimized for 0.25 mm layers.

• In the Slicer add pauses for all parts to insert. Add pause in the layers where the nut pockets are closed and where the inner diameter starts to shrink for the screws. See screenshots.

• Insert one M4 square nut into front part during print.

• Insert one M4 square nut and one K4x20 countersunk metric screw with hexagonal drive for 2.5 mm allenkey into mid part. The screw points towards nose, so insert head first. See Images.

• Insert one K4x8 countersunk metric screw with hexagonal drive for 2.5 mm allenkey into back part. The screw points towards nose so insert tip first.

• Use a long 2.5 mm allenkey to fasten screws. It fits through the nut forward to the screw drive. See image.

• Use a precision side cutter to cut away the 3 connections to the print aid in the back of the turbine.

If you do not have square nuts at hand you can also use my models for hexagonal standrd M4 nuts.
