Hot Wheels Display Shelf for the Zestify Pegboard Kit

Want to display your hot wheels or matchbox cars…. on the wall..?!?

Try out this killer wall mounted shelf system!

I decided to make these shelves because:

• I like hot wheels • I bought the cheaper version of IKEA's SKADIS pegboard on Amazon • I downloaded an STL for SKADIS and it didn't work on my cheap pegboards • I get carried away sometimes & don't know when to stop…

If you'd like to try this out for yourself, you'll need the following

• Purchase a pegboard kit from “Zestify” on Amazon - click here • One (1) somewhat maintained 3D Printer - click here • if you have more than 1, guess what..? you can finish this project faster!

• Hot Wheels and/or Matchbox cars - pretty much any diecast 1/64 scale car will work

How to print

• download STL • add as many additional model instances as you'd like • remove a couple instances if you added too many • slice • print

How to install the shelves

• follow the instructions provided via Zestify with your pegboard kit • press 3d printed shelves into the pegboard slots wherever you'd like • gently slide the shelves down until they lock into place • tilt shelves up or down as needed • PLEASE NOTE: you will not be able to insert shelves into slots within areas where the pegboard has been mounted via the provided adhesive mounting system.

I used a couple Prusa i3mk3s+ w/ Hatchbox's Black PETG @ 250C & 90C. Feel free to use whatever filament you'd like, just be cognizant of any tolerance variations.

I may consider developing variations of this model for wall mounting other items outside of toy cars. Let me know if that's something you'd like to see.
