More information

This is a trim piece that's designed to attach to the middle aluminum extrusion bar on a double INBXX.

Required Hardware

1 - M3x10 (or M3x12 max but will leave a mark on the 2020 extrusion; M3x8 might work but have not tried) 1 - M3 T Nut (Use an extra T Nut from the Blurolls kit, or try a printed one)

The double version of INBXX has a gap of about 9mm from the plexi door and the middle 2020 extrusion bar. This trim piece was designed to fill that space to reduce air seepage from between the two doors. For better results, place a thin strip of foam tape in between the door and trim piece.

This 3 piece design is held in place with one M3x10 hex screw, along with a M3 T Nut that you may have extras of from the Blurolls kit. If you don't have one, there are printable versions but I have not tried them. The end pieces are floating and held in place by the middle piece (no glue required).

To print, ASA/PETG or equivalent. .20mm Speed setting, Auto Supports (snug/rect); default 15% infill, 2 perimeters. Pictured, ASA end pieces and PETG middle, but PLA would work too (prototypes were done in PLA). I used a textured plate, and the pieces are placed with the intent of having the bottom (plate) side be the front face. After printing, I gently bend the middle piece inward so both ends press into the small end pieces (optional).

To assemble, insert the screw into the middle piece, and thread the T Nut part way. Pieces should be oriented with bottom side facing out. Place an end piece into position on INBXX, and use the middle piece to hold it in place. Position the other end piece on INBXX, and align the middle piece so that it's supporting both end pieces (see pictures). Tighten the screw until the T-Nut is fully engaged.
