In the pursuit of a better and more versatile filament clip, I've designed this hexagonal clamp. I've printed others less durable clips, but thin plastic can warp over time and loosen up. This design won't kink and break brittle filaments. It'll accommodate 1.75 and 2.85 mm filaments easily. It'll also hold slippery TPU, fabric cords, wires, thread, and maybe even wide shoelaces.
I've uploaded two different tolerances for your printers needs. The tighter of the two has a 0.1 mm thread gap and the other doubles that and also reduces the diameter of the wingnut.
It'll print without supports in about 30 mins on a Prusa MK3 and use about 6g of plastic.
