NoClamp | A removable desk clamp for everything

NoClamp

No clamp is a simple way to put anything you want on the edge of a desk. It works great for laptops, tablets, and keyboards, but can be used for anything from whiteboards and pen trays to midi controllers and beatpads. The design is parametric so it can be adapted to any desk or application you need.

All the parameters are able to be adjusted to your need, and the descriptions are pretty self explanatory.

If you are using hot glue as gripping feet for the clamp area, the Desk_Thickness_Margin should be kept around 2.5-3.0mm depending on how much clamping force you need and what materials you use. The other parameters are for the most part self explanatory:

Arm_Length_A is the length of the top area hanging over the desk, Arm_Length_B is the length of the top area over the desk.

Arm_Angle is the angle of incline relative to the desk.

Arm_Lip_Height is the height of the lip on the end of the arm

Support_Arc_Distance is the distance of the support arc that joins the top arm and the top of the clamp.

Clamp_Length_Top & Clamp_Length_Bottom is the length of the clamping area on the top and bottom of the desk. Adjust according to your application.
