Plant pot tray/saucer (parametric)

Description

This plant pot drip tray/saucer is a very simple design to allow for drainage of plant pots. I have pre-rendered an array of different sizes, but as it is design in OpenSCAD it is easy to customize the dimensions (see below).

Print Settings

To ensure that the print is watertight consider using the settings described by this Prusa article.

Custom Dimensions

If the numerous premade dimensions don't cut it, the easiest solution is to scale the closest size to the desired dimensions in the slicer. However, if you want full control over the dimension, can easily alter the design: For this you will need OpenSCAD.

The main variables in the OpenSCAD file you can change are top_diameter to change the outer diameter of the saucer and wall_thickness to change the wall thickness. By default, the height of the saucer depends on the diameter, but can be overwritten by changing the height parameter.

The number of support spokes is calculated from the spoke_spacing distance around the outer diameter. To override the number of spokes change the number_of_spokes variable. The length of the spokes can be altered by changing spoke_center_offset, which determines the distance from the center at which the spokes end.
