Story/Design
Pins that were holding the back shelf of the meriva got broken, so I designed them to be push-in pins, because it was hard to get to the other side of the plastic. I also wanted it to be locked in place as people who are using this car are popping the shelf with quite a bit of force.
Unfortunately, when I came to take some measurements of the pin hole there was no original pin left, since I don't know how it looks, I'm not gonna compare them side by side.
Instructions
To lock the pin in place Im using some weak zip-tie. I use a weak one because it snaps after locking in place so there is no zip-tie left behind the plastic wall. However, if you print it with PLA, zip-tie might snap before locking, and you will be left without a locking piece (happened to me once)!
Printing
Since you need to squish it a little before inserting, and then it needs to expand when in its place, I strongly suggest printing it with PETG or something similarly flexible. I printed it horizontally and got good results.
