Originální díl SP104409 (na součástce bývá vyraženo SP1044) se láme v místě, kde drží napětí rolety. Výsledkem je zaseknutá nebo nedovírající roleta. Tenhle model ho nahradí — a k tomu je přiložený pomocný nástroj na nastavení napnutí pružiny, bez kterého je montáž zbytečně krkolomná.

Doporučené nastavení tisku

• Materiál: Nejlepší volbou je ASA. Snese teploty za oknem bez deformace, nedegraduje na UV a hlavně se dá vyhladit acetonovými parami — vyhlazení spojí vrstvy dohromady, výrazně zvedne pevnost v místě namáhaném tahem pružiny a zároveň zapečetí povrch. Po vyhlazení se díl chová spíš jako litý než tištěný.

• PETG je dobrá alternativa, pokud nemáte uzavřenou tiskárnu — teplotně vyhoví, jen se nedá vyhladit.

• ABS funguje také (acetonem se vyhladí stejně), ale hůř snáší UV.

• PLA nepoužívejte. Díl je za oknem, kde v létě teploty snadno překročí bod měknutí, a zároveň je trvale namáhaný tahem pružiny.

• Perimetry: 4 a více

• Infill: 40–60 %

• Vrstva: 0,2 mm

• Orientace: viz přiložené foto — vrstvy musí být kolmo na směr tahu, jinak se díl rozdělí po vrstvě

• Supporty: nejsou potřeba

Pozn. k vyhlazení: aceton mírně zvětší rozměry a zaoblí hrany. Pokud jde o lícující plochy, počítejte s tím — buď vyhlazujte kratší dobu, nebo model před tiskem zmenšete o desetiny milimetru. Vyhlazujte v dobře větraném prostoru.

Montáž

Zabere zhruba 15–30 minut. Roleta se vysune, stará prasklá úchytka vyjme, nasadí se nová a nástrojem se dostaví napnutí. Postup krok za krokem je v přiloženém PDF.

Replacement for the frequently cracking blind retaining clip used in Seitz/Dometic systems on caravans and motorhomes.

The original SP104409 part (usually stamped SP1044) breaks at the point where it holds the blind's spring tension. The result is a blind that jams or won't close properly. This model replaces it — and includes a helper tool for setting the spring tension, without which the installation is needlessly awkward.

Recommended print settings

• Material: ASA is the best choice. It handles the temperatures behind a window without deforming, doesn't degrade under UV, and can be vapour-smoothed with acetone — smoothing fuses the layers together, significantly increases strength at the point loaded by the spring, and seals the surface. After smoothing, the part behaves more like a cast piece than a printed one.

• PETG is a good alternative if you don't have an enclosed printer — temperature performance is fine, it just can't be smoothed.

• ABS also works (smooths with acetone just as well) but handles UV less well.

• Do not use PLA. The part sits behind a window where summer temperatures easily exceed its softening point, and it's under constant spring tension.

• Perimeters: 4 or more

• Infill: 40–60%

• Layer height: 0.2 mm

• Orientation: see the attached photo — layers must run perpendicular to the direction of pull, otherwise the part will split along a layer line

• Supports: not required

Note on smoothing: acetone slightly increases dimensions and rounds off edges. If mating surfaces matter, account for this — either smooth for a shorter time, or scale the model down by a few tenths of a millimetre before printing. Smooth in a well-ventilated area.

Installation

Takes roughly 15–30 minutes. Extend the blind, remove the broken clip, fit the new one, then set the tension using the tool. A step-by-step guide is included in the attached PDF.
