Ultra-Durable Replacement Shelf for LG Fridge

All the shelves in my LG fridge broke due to poor design, and the official replacement plastic parts LG AAP73051304 are outrageously priced. So, I decided to reverse-engineer the shelf and create a much stronger, more economical version.

The walls are intentionally thick, designed to be printed with low infill density to maximize strength while minimizing plastic usage.

The model requires a print bed with at least 350mm width—I printed mine on a Voron 2.4R2 350.

It can be printed using PLA+ (and possibly PETG as well). I was able to slice it at under 500g using the following settings:

• 0.6 mm nozzle • 0.3 mm layer height • 10% infill • 2 wall loops • 3 top layers • 3 bottom layers • Supports enabled on both sides

After more than two years of use, these shelves have held up perfectly with no breakage.
