More information
Our washing machine closing handle broke. Because I had too many troubles looking for the replacement part, I had decided to design and print it in 3D myself.
I divided the piece into three to avoid supports and reinforce the housings of the pins that act as hinges. The piece is printed with ABS and is easily glued with acetone. Print it as shown in the G-Code file.
I set it up two years ago and it's still working! Few manufacturers give a superior warranty.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR DISASSEMBLY, PART REPLACEMENT AND DOOR ASSEMBLY:
1. Disassemble the door by loosening the screws on the rear cover.
2. Remove the locking lever along with the spring.
3. Remove the back cover.
4. Remove the pins holding the handle and replace it with the new part.
5. Reassemble the door by following the same steps in reverse order.
