I use brass rods as connectors for most of my models. This tool can be used to cut them to the correct length.
The tool is available for 1.0, 1.2, and 1.5mm wire and rods for lengths between 4 and 20mm.
If you can cut the wire flush, use the right side, otherwise use the left side. This is intended for normal side cutters that do not cut flush.
