3-Tray Index Card Inbox / Outbox

This is a 3-tray inbox/outbox for standard 3" x 5" index cards. I have rubber feet attached to the bottom to prevent it from sliding around my desk; I recommend that you do the same.

This is a staple of my daily productivity/workflow system. The way I use this is as follows:

• The tray on the left is my “inbox”. When I have a new task, I write it on an index card with the date and drop it in the left-most tray. • The tray on the right is my “done” box. When the task is done, I write the completion date on the back of the card and drop it in the right-most tray. • The center tray holds a stack of blank cards, so I always have cards at the ready.

In addition to this, I also use an index card tickler system (not pictured) to surface specific cards that I need to see on certain days, as well as a place to keep all of my non-time-sensitive cards. So, while this inbox is part of my system, it's not the entirety of the system itself.

The print in the photo was done on my Prusa i3 MKS+ with Anthracite Prusament PETG, at a 0.2mm resolution.
