Prints nicely in PLA without supports (see picture with print orientation) in around 15 minutes. Assembly only takes 5-10 minutes.

Assembly instructions

• Unload your filament from the filament sensor to make installation easier. • Unscrew the bolt on the filament sensor. • Place the adapter like in the photos where the filament sensor used to be. • Using the bolt you just unscrewed, screw the adapter to the printer. • Place the filament sensor between the two rails as in the photos, aligning the hole on the filament sensor with the hole on the adapter. • Put the M3x18 bolt through the hole and screw on the M3 nut on the back of the adapter tightly as in the photos.

Changes to the original

• Rails were added on the sides to prevent the filament sensor from wiggling from side to side and further reduce strain on the filament sensor. • A hole on the side to insert a thin nut was filled in to make it easier to print.
