Classic Tray in 120 Sizes with Optional Feet

This is my design of a classic tray with a slightly sloped border. I made it to be used as a flat tray or with four feet to raise it somewhat over the surface.

How to Print the Knob

In the file section, you will find an example project LR2178 Print.3mf for the PrusaSlicer. Use this project to see the parameters I recommend, or if you like to slice the models from scratch, please have a look at the table below:

Nozzle Size:Recommended 0.4mm Working: 0.6mm and 0.8mm

Layer Height:Recommended 0.2mm

Filament Materials:PLA, PETG

Perimeters:Two perimeters

Prusa Slicer Profile:“0.2mm Quality”

Dimensions

The name of each model has the following format:

LR2178-<width>-<depth>.3mf

The Width and Depth

The models' filenames contain the tray's inner dimensions in mm. To find the outer dimensions, add 8mm to these values.

There is only one model per width and depth; therefore, if you do not find the combination you are looking for, search for one with these dimensions swapped.

About the Optional Feet

The tray has alignment holes at the bottom with a diameter of 6mm and a depth of 0.8mm. You can ignore these holes or print four “LR2178-Foot.3mf” models. Glue these feet into these holes with a drop of superglue or epoxy.

Removing the Part Number and Alignment Holes

Adding a small box in the slicer software lets you easily remove the alignment holes and/or the part number from the model.
