DeWalt DCD771 Honeycomb Storage Wall Mount - HSW - Drill - Cordless Drill

I printed it with PLA at 15% infill and .2 layer height on my Ender 5S1.

I found the other DeWalt drill holder and it just didnt properly fit my drill and my drill sometimes slid off the wall, this fortunately keeps it secure and even holds it with the battery connected!

Sorry if there are any imperfections, this is my first remix of a print and it took me forever. I first edited the size down in blender by using the grab tool on one of the edges, then i grabbed both of the holes and recentered them, then I loaded it in Prusa Slicer, cut the one end off and mirrored+cloned it so both sides had the tight angle rather than the long one like the model I remixed.

I really hope at least one person out there gets use out of this because I had a janky looking version that was just fine for me but I figured others would have higher standards. I know it is not much but I have never even used Blender before this so I was completely out of my element!

My print settings: PLA +, 215 C, 70 C bed (because of garolite bed), 15% infill, 3 perimeters, 200% speed (I have an input shaper and garolite bed and a custom fan mount with an extra part cooling fan).

NOTE: I am still printing the beautified version that I am uploading right now, so currently the attatched pictures are the ugly version, but hopefully you can see that it looks fine in the model. I will be updating the images once my print is done (1-2 days).

UPDATE: V2 NOW OUT! Fits absolutely perfectly! ZERO gap! ZERO slide! Check out the pics! Made the edges longer too to keep drill even more secure (with battery as well! Hope yall enjoy because it took me like 3 solid days of losing my mind.

If yall got caliper measurements and pics of the part you wish to hang and need help getting modified adapters for your HSW - please reach out to me on telegram at @ThatsNotHowAnyOfThisWorks or via email at [email protected], as long as its not too complicated I could use the practice now that I am kinda into it! If anyone out there has a Ideal Multimeter, thats my next part, its going to just have straight up honey combs on the back that dont need any inserts whatsoever, the full sized ones, and its a nice and big bucket scaled to fit my multimeter, but as I said a moment ago I am willing to adapt for those who need it, and I will start including blender files, if possible, just gotta figure that out next lol

Leaving V1 up for whatever reason, maybe it fits some other model better, but def not this one!
