Door Painting and Door Hardware Install Stand

I needed to support a 35mm thick door I was installing. I wanted my hands and the rest of my body free from supporting it. I found some options (metal/timber) online, but I didn't have the timber and wasn't willing to pay in excess of $AUD 150 for a potentially ‘only one-time use’ tool. But………I do have an Original Prusa MK3S+ and the design software Fusion 360!

This model is strong and rigid and provides a stable support for the door to be placed horizontally, with either or both ends using this stand. I accept it might be able to be better ‘engineered’ and potentially reduced in size, but it really does work as is, so why change it? To save a bit of filament and time?

As this is a tool, I printed it at 0.30mm.

I had hollowed out the internals to save time and filament, but ended up needing supports internally anyway, so I don't think that was very effective.

I used four (4) outer layers to assist with rigidity, but reduced internal fill to 10%, again in the hope to save time and filament.

Total time for design: Less than one hour

Total print time: 14 hours 20 minutes

Total filament use: About 300g

This is more first upload so please don't be too critical, but positive constructive criticism welcomed. I have only been 3D Printing for about four weeks. I am definitely addicted!

And a shout out to Mr. Josef Prusa - thank you and your team for producing such a quality printer made for novices (like me) and professionals (my hopeful destiny!).
