More information

I printed this mount as oriented in the STEP file with supports inside the recess as I wanted the strength of printing in this orientation. I also think the sensor will slide in and out easier when printed in that orientation. Alternatively, you can print it with the front of the mount face down to print without supports, and I have added a STL and a generic 3mf in this orientation.

Material: PETG due to the proximity to the heated bed.

LH: 0.2

First LH: 0.24

First Layer LW: 145%

Walls: 4 (to avoid odd sparse infill lines)

Seam: Aligned (Scarf off)

Reverse on Odd: On

Top & Bottom Shell Layers: 2

Gap Fill: Nowhere

Number of slow layers: 5 (helps keep the part on the bed due to the small size)

Brim: None

If you are having adhesion issues with the face-down orientation:

Brim: Mouse Ears

Brim Width: 6mm

Brim-object Gap: 0.2mm
