i tried to work with those STL files in Fusion 360 and its next to impossible to work with. i couldn't found any CAD worthy file for the tower mount, only STL. (and if one exist i couldn't locate one)
so, i took a paper and copy the exact Flsun v400 tower profile shape, loaded it to the CAD and draw the exact thing from scratch.
after 3 test trails, im proud to have a very sturdy tower mount that holds tight perfectly. so in order for you not to get messy like i did i shared the source step file.
i used it to create a tool holder and it works grate.
i printed it with generic yellow PETG on Flsun v400
print params :
• temp : 230 for first layer 240 for the rest • speed : 150 mm/s • retract : 2mm * retract speed 20mm • NO SUPPORTS • NO BRIM • infill : lines 20% • walls : 3 (optional, but its stronger that way) • top/bottom layers : 3 / 5 (PTEG tends to be problematic at these speeds so this will keep a top surface nice and neat)
