Logitech G25/G27/G29 Bearing Housing remix from ataylor's model
ataylor's model is a promising fix for the G27 housing but it requires a lot of filament and takes a while to print (almost 8hrs for my Ender 3 V3 SE). Granted that it's for those who need a full replacement of the bearing housing, my version is intended to be used with the original housing.
I wanted to keep the original housing as it is made from ABS (stronger than PETG), so I thought of providing “some support” to the original housing and not replace it completely.
So I designed this support clamp derived from ataylor's F3D files! Fits all the needs to fix the broken housing with:
• Less filament and Less Hardware
• Saves the original Housing bearing
--------------------------------------------------------------------
Print settings used:
• Layer Height: 0.2
• Wall loops: 3
• Infill % (Pattern): 15% (Gyroid)
• Enabled Brim (5mm)
Hardware:
4 pieces each of either
• 1/8" inch screw (or 3.5mm equivalent)
• or M3 (30mm length) with nut
• E400 Glue (or any silicone based adhesive; optional)
• Ratchet/Wood Clamps (to help when securing the clamp in placing when installing the screws and/or glue)
--------------------------------------------------------------------
*Before starting, I recommend removing the wheel and mounting clamp first to allow more space to operate the installation.
Installation is very simple, simply:
• Optional: Apply glue on the area(s) where the clamp will make contact with the housing (for added security). I recommend applying glue on the housing (easier than applying on the clamp itself).
• Install Part A on side where the wheel is. There might be some “play” required to fit into it, so I left a bit of allowance for the supports on the housing
• Install Part B on the circuit board side. This one is easier to install as u just need to slide it in.
• Secure using the screws.
--------------------------------------------------------------------
It is within your discretion to ensure that the clamp is secure and the print is within your set tolerance settings, but feel free to provide suggestions in improving the design!
So far, I do not have to worry anymore with a broken housing, especially that I have played Dirt Rally 2.0 (with FFB cut down to around 25% because of the bigger wheel)

This is also my first upload and I hope you enjoy and that this helps you out in fixing your Logitech wheel!
