M5 Dual Screw Table/Mounting Clamp

Clamps.

Used to hold things onto other things using the pressure from a loosely embedded nut.

Chuck M5 nuts into holes on each side, line up with screw holes, and screw M5 bolts (preferably with washers) through top hole, passing through the nuts as you go to assemble.

Sandwich something thinner than the clearance you printed between the clampy-bits and tighten screws to clamp/mount whatever jury-rigged eldritch horrors you have lying around waiting for some stability.

Tolerances are fairly loose since the bolt is doing most of the work, and the screws stop anything from falling out. So even a dingy rust bucket should be capable of printing this and having everything fit in there well enough.

Clamp.

-Bolts must be 20mm or longer.

-3/16" bolts seem to be the imperial equivalent. I have no idea, please correct me.

-More walls will mean more rigidity.

-Don't use it to mount bowling balls above your bed. Be responsible and behave yourself.

-Print it horizontally on its side so the nut holes are on the top and bottom.

-If you print it vertically, I will find you and claim your printer as my own.

-The 22mm clearance (pictured above) is a fair bit weaker than the rest of the models as it's being irresponsibly used to turn my Ozito bench sander into a portable sanding table.

-Use reasonable plastic, remember its made of same plastic when using.

-If used as a permanent mount, consider locite/self locking screws or whatever janky glue you have on hand to secure the screws long-term.
