This jig allows to easily and accurately extend existing 5mm shelf pin holes without requiring any measuring. It's made for a 5mm self-centering drill bit like this one: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07P8192S4.
Main features
• Compatible with 32mm or 64mm shelf holes spacing • Quick setup with no measurements required • Printable on PrusaMini+ (when rotated to fit diagonally)
Extremely simple to use
• Align the small holes with two existing holes, then use two shelf pins to fix the jig to the cabinet. • For added stability, use any kind of clamp to attach the jig even more securely. • Drill up to 4 additional holes using the self-centering drill bit with the larger holes. • Rinse and repeat.
Print notes
• Use PETG for increased durability. • Increase the number of top / bottom layers for a solid print. Given the thickness it doesn't add much if any to the print time / material. • Set the option to print “External perimiters first” (PrusaSlicer) for better dimensional accuracy of the holes.
